Lesbians, bisexuals, transsexual men and women, the young LGBT population and the families of diverse sexualities are groups that in history have had a minor voice in private and public spaces comparing to the gay men.
With the goal to advance towards a real gender equality and effective self representation of the sexual diversity, Movilh has groups with specific guidelines that aboard the reality of the most vulnerable and invisible social sectors of the sexual diversity.
- Movilh-Women: Movilh-Women promote the debate and the reduction of the prejudices and discrimination which affect the reality of lesbian and bisexual women, while doing continuous social, cultural, political, legislative and legal actions to achieve equality. Contact:mujeres@movilh.cl.
- Movilh-Trans: Movilh-Trans are working for the ending of transphobia which every day through its existence hurts the dignity of men and women with a diverse gender identity. Therefore, they work in every part of the society together with other sexual minorities and other discriminated sectors to eradicate such discrimination. Contact:trans@movilh.cl
- Movilh-Youth: Movilh-Youth consistently struggle to eradicate the discrimination young lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transsexuals, enforcing the equality of right for all youth, with special focus on promoting educational politics in favor of non-discrimination and the respecting of the social-cultural diversity. - Movilh-Family: Movilh-Family consists of mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, grandparents, aunts, uncles or any other kind of family of lesbians, gays, bisexuals or transsexuals, whose goal is to decrease the discrimination within the families. On of the principal activities of this group is conversation and guidance in pair with mothers, fathers or other family having a problem or difficulties embracing the sexual orientation or gender identity of their son or daughter.
